    He probably never ready Orwell's 1984 either.

    I prefer his Animal Farm. It is one of my favorites. I read 1984 once.
    Maybe I was too young to fully appreciate it, but what I do remember does
    not seem near as far-fetched as it did back then.

    Animal Farm was interesting as well, and certainly would have been a better read when I was younger than '1984'.

    I always wondered if Orwell ever thought that someone would use his book as a manual.
