• Crime Doesn't Pay

A few recent news stories of note.

In Chicago, outgoing mayor Lightfoot will become the first Chicago mayor in
a long time that didn't win a second term. Not only did she lose, but she
lost during Chicago's equivalent of the primary. Many Chicagoans, news pundits, etc., have cited her being soft on crime while coddling groups
intent on causing crime as the reason she will not compete for a second
    term.

In Portland, Wal-Mart is shutting down both of it stores, stating that they
are not profitable. Local news reports, and locals interviewed, cite the city's softness on shoplifting as a possible reason for the lack of profitability. During one of the local news reports, the reporter was
standing in what sure looked to be a very full parking lot. Certainly as
full as our local Wal-Mart parking lot on any given afternoon.

Not exactly about crime but, in San Fransisco, a local farmer's market is loosing vendors who are concerned about the encroachment of the local
homeless camp into their market area.

Oh, yeah, and a bunch of "peaceful leftists" who set a bunch of fires,
attacked policemen, and participated in other "peaceful" activities, at a protest site in Atlanta got rounded up and charged with domestic terrorism.
Several are aligned with the "non-existent" Antifa, and several are from outside of the USA. Unfortunately, one of the ring leaders has been let
out on a small $5000 bail.

I am pretty sure those news reports must be wrong, though, because leftists
are always peaceful and never set fires or attack people.

It's good news for Chicago Democrat voters because they were smart enough to say goodbye to the gay/black/female gimmick.

We'll see in November if they're also smart enough to switch party.

    Hello Ron,

I am pretty sure those news reports must be wrong, though, because
leftists are always peaceful and never set fires or attack people.

And their policies are **never** to blame.

"Researchers found that the vaccinated are at least twice as likely
to be infected with covid as the unvaccinated and those with natural
immunity." ~ Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga)

That is only one of several unsupported allegations of Republican
lawmakers. "Leftists" do not speak of any such nonsense.

Rep. Richard McCormick (R-Ga) advanced his collegaue's nonsense
by informing everyone that oronavirus booster shots "do more harm
    than good."

I really liked what some other Republicans had to say, some of them
medical doctors, along with others ust playing one on TV,
such as Repp Debbie Lesko (R-Ariz) with her unsupported allegation
that "COVID was intentionally released" from a Chinese lab because
"it would be impossible for the virus to be accidentally leaked."

I can go on and on, showing far more examples of nonsense being
spouted by the covidiocy committee of Republican geniuses.

But I'll leave it to C-SPAN to continue showing live coverage
of those same committee members making the same kinds of statements,
as they all have doctorates in the subject ...

    For Life,
    Lee
