• The infrastructure

From Björn Felten@2:203/2 to All on Fri Nov 18 03:50:03 2022
Remember how the former president over and over again promised to fix the US infrastructure. Well, did he deliver?

On the other hand the present administration *did* deliver, and now praise from *every* state in the US (red as well as blue) is coming in. That's socialism working (because only the government can make this happen).

No it didn't. The "infrastructure" you're referring to is just a media talking point. If it weren't for the media, then few people would know about it. There is a lot of real infrastructure that we need, but Democrats waste and squander, while voters are idiots who watch too much tv.

We here at Fidonet have a shortage of people who are able to explain what the Biden administration is doing for them.

So what infrastructure are all those governors talking about then? Are they all included in you "media" fantasy?

Good question! Well, it sounds like they got a new bridge built in Arizona.
Was the new bridge worth trillions of dollars? Probably not, so I read on..

The article was titled "One Year Later, the Bipartisan Law is delivering.."

It ain't delivering fast enough. Here's what the NY gov said about it (1 year later)

"This is going to be thousands of good-paying jobs coming here, so it only makes sense that when we make improvements and enhancements to the safety and efficiency of our infrastructure, that we also create some prosperity."

Sure thing! A year later, and we're still talking about "this is going to
be.." it's not going to be anything. Soon the idiot American voters will
forget all about the trillions of dollars that Democrats took and they'll be ready to hand over trillions more.

You mean compared to the four years Trump spent on *promising* to fix the infrastructure, but never did anything?

I saw Trump's infrastructure in the border and in energy, but the Biden Regime tore it all down because it wasn't built in accordance with globalism.

There were no spending bills involved; Trump had a deal with Mexico that enabled us to have a functional border, until Biden cancelled it. Trump allowed the Alaska pipeline (to get our oil from Alaska to the contiguous states) but Biden cancelled it in favor of foreign oil dependency.

No bill, no money, no result, just empty promises.

The Infrastructure Bill OTOH, is real, with real money *invested* in the USA. As opposed to 1.9 trillion dollar bills *wasted* on tax relief for the ultra rich...

BTW, how did it go with your "NY energy assistance application"? Yet another result from the Biden administration that you enjoy -- but maybe you don't realize that?

Trump's border policies were visible; dumpster enclosures in the northeastern states weren't flooded with migrants like they are now. People weren't cashing in their life insurance policies to have money for oil, either; this misery is new to us with the advent of the Biden Regime.

It's not a result of the Biden administration; I've been receiving the benefit since the George W Bush era.

states weren't flooded with migrants like they are now.

There's no stats showing that immigration has increased. The reason for the hold-ups are Trumps' crazy idea that if you make the queues long enough, the immigration will decrease.

More of Trump's folly: An unpublished memo from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection leaked in March 2022 revealed that his "impenetrable" border wall had been breached more than 3,200 times by the time he left office in 2021. Your Best POTUS Ever Hero?

    People weren't cashing
in their life insurance policies to have money for oil, either; this misery is new to us with the advent of the Biden Regime.

And before the MAGA idiots, people didn't think that the POTUS could control the big oil companies and their prices. The misery is because the GOP has just one agenda: steal from the working class and give to the ultra rich.

Isn't it true that the minimum wage has remained the same for 30 years, while the corporate taxes was down from 35% then, to 21% after Trump? Now up to 28% thanks to Biden. That's where politicians, who care more about the ordinary people than about the richest, get the money for their reforms.

Where do I need to go to see this infrastructure that you're referring to? San Diego or something?

I just posted a link, you even read it. Go pick your choice.

It's not a result of the Biden administration; I've been receiving the benefit since the George W Bush era.

So you don't even know who wrote the bill you benefit from? That one from 20 years ago, do you really think that was a permanent one? Jeeezzz...

There are stats showing that illegal immigration has increased under the Biden Regime.

Are you not allowed to see or hear truth because of communist policy?

More of Trump's folly: An unpublished memo from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection leaked in March 2022 revealed that his "impenetrable" border wall had been breached more than 3,200 times by the time he left office in 2021. Your Best POTUS Ever Hero?

3,200 is NOTHING. More than 4 million illegals have entered since the Biden regime took power in 2020, according to our own border patrol.

Speaking highly of anything that Trump did is against commuist policy, so
don't get yourself into trouble with the law.

And before the MAGA idiots, people didn't think that the POTUS could control the big oil companies and their prices. The misery is because
the GOP has just one agenda: steal from the working class and give to
    the ultra rich.

That's what the Biden regime is doing with trillions of dollars. It's not stealing though, it's just squandering. Trillions of taxpayer dollars are just numbers that we hear on TV. The "infrastructure" is just gimmicks that we hear on TV. We don't SEE any new infrastructure, although we SEE places where we need infrastructure (the border, flood zones, covid hotels, unsafe drinking water, unsanitary homes, etc) and we're not getting it.

Where do I need to go to see this infrastructure that you're referrin San Diego or something?

I just posted a link, you even read it. Go pick your choice.

No, I want to see the infrastructure in real life, not a link, not on TV either. Is that how communists show reality to people? Through links?

"If you don't believe me, ask your computer or your TV!" :)

It's not a result of the Biden administration; I've been receiving th benefit since the George W Bush era.

So you don't even know who wrote the bill you benefit from? That one from 20 years ago, do you really think that was a permanent one? Jeeezzz...

Yea who gives a flying one about who wrote the bill? It's old. Energy assistance is a handjob that Americans have been getting for decades. You wanted to give Biden credit for it, but he can't have it.

What do yo mean "Do you really think that was a permanent one?" I don't understand. Let me put on my communist reading glasses...
