Hello Martin!
While digging for some old echomail I came across a remnant of one point system I configured:

This was set up for my mom. She really enjoyed reading the various echos. My local "hub" crashed, so I set her pc to call a boss node long-distance direct.
We were still on dialup at the time. One of the better long-distance plans we got at the time was $15/mo max unlimited.
I *think* I was /1000.1 and dialed out independently, but I can't remember.
Apoint cooperated well for good while. But under OS/2 Warp3 it buckled sometimes. I *think* we settled with FD/APX later on.
