In the Windows version of OpenXP, entering HI-ASCII characters in the message editor is very easily achieved by holding down the <Alt> key, entering the ASCII code of the character with the numeric keypad and
then letting go of the <Alt> key.

alt-158 = žOK in WinPoint.

The above looks quite right in the oxp editor.

In fact, there's no Square Root Symbol in my ASCII chart.

Does a copy/paste method work from a chart or list in from of you work in Linux?
