• oxp: change background colour - how?

From August Abolins@2:221/1.58 to All on Wed Apr 3 22:37:00 2019

Is there a way to change the background colour?

The pure black background and the white text is not too good for me.

I explored the various Display options, but I did not notice a setting for background.

Yes but it's a bit complicated because the colour combinations for foreground/background are endless.

There used to be some pre-defined colour schemes but I can't find them
now. I've contacted the developer and asked him where he's "hidden"
    them ;)

As an experiment, go into Config/Display/Colors and select "User/
Newsgr". Hit the "Text" button and a colour picker should now appear
and you can then move the cursor around in there until you find a
combination that suits your taste. Notice how the colours change when
you move the cursor around :)

Once you're happy with your choice, hit <Enter> followed by <Esc>,
then hit the "Save" option followed by the "OK" button. If you make a
mess, you can get back to the default colour settings by hitting the "Default" button.

This is just one example which may help to get you started.

    Regards,
    Martin

YES IT IS! I'm afraid to touch it. lol

I could make things worse. Right now, I adjust the brightness of the computer display in conjunction with my ambient light. It's a quick work- around.

Looking forward to hear back. Thanks.
