OpenXP is a fully integrated FidoNet Point system, email client and
newsgroup client for the Windows/Linux console.

Windows version is available as a 32-Bit ZIP package.

Linux version is available as a 32-Bit ZIP or RPM package and as a
64-Bit ZIP or RPM package.

Pascal source code packages are also available for download.

I'd be happy to try. I am slowly working on moving my BBS to MBSE under
Devuan Linux but I do have ArcaOS to run in a VM as soon as I get around
to it.

There's always been a lack of modern software for OS/2 and I do try to help.

I found the public domain source code of an excellent bearing calculator (used in amateur radio) in Turbo Pascal flavor recently. I was able to successfully compile it for Linux, OS/2, Win32, Win64, and DOS. Once I have a little more time here, I'm going to release it. I am just cleaning up the code and will be adding colorized output to the program using the unit from my door writing unit.

I don't know if you know or not, but I am the author behind the Cheepware line of BBS doors and sysop utilities. I've been developing them since 1998. My doors are open source and on Github though I'll be moving everything Sourceforge soon. I am also a member of the MBSE BBS Development Team.

So I try to spread the love around in the BBS world to help things keep going.

Thanks to you and Gunter (I hope that's right) for all of your efforts.

No, I didn't know that but it's a VERY long time since I ran a BBS. The
last BBS software I ran was ProBoard back in the mid 90's. The first BBS sofware I ever tried was QuickBBS(or maybe it was QBBS?) on the Atari-ST, WOW, remember that! :))

Is that still an issue today? I have MBSE facing all the networks I carry here and have a point running OpenXP in one of the nets.

If there are any issues I'd be happy to work toward a solution.

I have noticed issues with HotdogEd and Aftershock (not critical issues) but I don't know if it's a problem others have encountered or if it's a problem with MBSE. If others are having issues I'd be happy to have a look and report anything I find with the MBSE team.
