• Ten After Ten

From Ed Vance@1:2320/105 to All on Thu Mar 21 23:18:00 2019
    Howdy!,

I am on Hobby Lobby's Email List.

I have noticed when-ever their Email shows a Analog Clock in it,
the majority of times the image shows the Clock at Ten Minutes After Ten.

I happened to be in another Store and saw one of the Clocks there had
the Hands pointing at Ten Minutes After Ten.

Is there a "Secret Meaning" to that Time of Day (or Night)?

    OR
Is it just ED's Head messing with Me?

    Thanks!

Very good reason and deals with advertising.
Most watch names are under the 12. When the watch/clock is at 10.10
    the arms bracket the name.

That was something I picked up years ago. Forget where. I think it
was on a program about watches and watchmaking, history, etc that was
sort of just tossed out in a conversation.
Must of made an impression on me.
Where you been? Do you have an accounting for your absence? :)

    it must have! :)

i've been here reading along... just busy with other things...

i sent you an email some time back, maybe end of september, early october... i had had to switch software and if you wanted to try using my news server again, you were welcome to do so... it is all different than what it was with the old system which hurricane florence effectively took away...

i've also had to change my internet domain since then... none of the old *.wpusa.dynip.com addresses work any more... i'm mostly using my gmail address but have things working with the new software and domain, as well...

I have all sorts of random bits of information floating around in my

Don't just write something, sit there. :)

I probably got it and planned on doing something about it and got side tracked.
Wound back here at Doc's, where I started.
Resend the info and I'll be more attentive.

Sometimes it shows Ten before Two... a very similar placement of the
    hands.... :)

Is it just ED's Head messing with Me?

I've read that it makes it look like a smile, so the clock face evokes
good feelings (and then one is more likely to want to purchase)...

Just looked at the clock we have on the wall here... the name is down
nearer the six.... Don't have any analog watches around to check...
