Our rain was mostly off and on showers. We haven't had a time to dry
out for months and I think people and things outside are turning
moldy. :) Our goofy weatherman loves cold and snow and like a little
kid when snow is predicted and pouts when we don't get it, or as much
as predicted. I think he's nuts!

He should move back north.... <G>

He went about a "snow drought" this winter. We've had a couple of
quarter inch snows. Three inches brings this whole area to a stand
still. (I can picture Nancy laughing over that so hard she nearly
falls out of her chair). :)

Not quite.... I do understand the south a little, having lived in
Jackson MS for four years as a child.... During that time, we had
exactly one snowfall... about an inch or two.... Everything closed
down... and we stayed home from school to enjoy the unexpected snow...
it was a red-letter day... <G> I remember that we tried to make a
snowman, but were too small to lift the snowballs up onto the bottom
one, and ended up with three snow chairs... which lasted for a couple of
weeks, I think... :) We took just about all the snow in the yard to
make those three large balls... ;)

Several years ago we had a big snow (for here) and due to the roads the university was shut down since we have a lot of commuter students and the streets in town were bad as well for employees.
The following morning there were dozens of snowmen all over campus.
All shapes, sizes, different poses, etc.

I see that the "captive" campus-living students had a ball.... <G>
