Nancy is our resident Luddite, still using DOS. :)

According what I found in the 'net:

What does it mean to be called a Luddite?

Its just that Nancy is the only still using DOS and joking that she's in
the past. Its all in fun.
Just as I'm a Luddite with comes to smart phones. I don't live on mine,
use it for everything, etc. To me its a telephone with text ability.
Other than that I seldom use it for the other features.
Nor do I carry it with me at all times. Unless I'm at work (where I
might need it), it sits on the desk until I call/answer someone. When I am out
and about, its still at home.

Today, it's an insult to call someone a Luddite. But that's not fair to
the original Luddites - cloth workers who launched a war against the machines that were taking their jobs.

    An effort in futility.

Yep.. Sticking to DOS is almost to be admired.

It is probably best to keep the radio waves to a minimum around our
    bodies.

Mine is a BlackBerry that the previous owner damgaged at the usb
connector; it won't charge with the usb cable. But an external battery charger solves the problem. For the first year or so, I only used the BB
as a handy camera. Only recently, I signed up with one of the "unlimited data" cell plans. So, now I'm using the BB mainly as a mobile hotspot to access the data service offered by the cell company. I'm keeping this
thing atleast 3 or 4 ft away from me when the radios are turned on.
