    as additiona security questions...

    what's your mother's maiden name?
    what's your favorite color?
what was your first dog's name?
what street did you grow up on?

and similar... some are more actual quizzes, though...

I recall some security question on some legit site that asked for
something that didn't pertain to me or that I couldn't in all honestly answer.
    It
was something like what was the name of your first boy/girlfriend? I don't know. I just made one up. :)

At home I'll sometimes be doing something then notice something else
needs tended to, stop doing A and start working on B, then later wonder why A isn't finished yet.
I get especially side tracked when reading old newspapers, magazines, etc
for some information. Soon I have wandered far afield.

My problem is being able to read some note I jotted down after its cold.
I'll read a sentence and not be able to figure out what this or that word
is and have to think "what word would go there?"
Many is the time, well almost all the time, I'll note something then have
no idea what it was about. :)

I have the same problem. Lately I've taken to writing notes on my phone.
It's handy when I don't have a pen and paper.

Also good for checking the weather!

Unless I'm working, I seldom have my phone with me.
    I'm rather old-fashioned that way.
I have never understood people who have to have it in their hand at all times.
I see people driving and talking on the phone (which is illegal in WV)
and even trying to park while still holding it to their ear. I always think "put it down, park, then talk".

I do use mine at times to check the weather, the mail, etc. Again,
    usually at work.
But about 99 per cent of the time, often more, it just sits there
    gathering dust. :)
    BTW, I don't recognise ya.

had been noted so that there was some sort of context... <G>

What is even worse is when I jot down one word to remind me of something
