This is a hard echo to find.

I'm sort of on a quest to find out how many versions of Avery Parrish's
classic piano blues "After Hours" have been recorded. I have (without enumerating) fifty or so different versions in my big stack of CDs.

From the original on an Erskine Hawkins release, through the 1982 Ray
Bryant solo performance at Montreaux, and Pinetop Perkins, Barbara
Denerlein, Henry Mancini, Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman, etc. etc.

From some brilliant and unexpected sources. If you listen to WBGO's
"Jazz After Hours" you will find that new host Greg Bryant plays at
least one cut of After Hours every show .... something I never caught
    Brian Delp doing.
