We also had to say goodby to some. Some dropped out of the nodelist, some changed ISP and their new ISP no longer supported IPv6 and they did get around installing a tunnel. Some just dropped IPv6 for reasons unknown.
My ISP (Rogers) supports IPv6, but it doesn't seem to be very
reliable. Not sure if it's my router or the ISP that's the issue. I
may play with it again soon & see what happens.
Reliable or not, adding IPv6 to your Fidonet node is a good playground
to get to know IPv6 without much potential for harmfull side effects. If IPv6 occasionally fails, it won't do much harm when IPv4 is still operational. The mail will come though anyway..
