    Hello Bj”rn,

But by then I had an IP number in the 100.64.0.0/10 private address block, so it took another half hour to get that corrected.

100.64.0.0/10 is not exactly "private". It is the block reserved for CGNAT. Amomg other things, CGNAT is used in combination with DS-Lite. So maybe you had native IPv6 without noticing?

    Cheers, Michiel

I don't want DS-Lite. But no, this had nothing to do with DS-Lite, it was simply a mistake they did, and corrected within a few minutes.

DS-Lite isn't so bad and in the long run it will be inevitable. But I can understand why you do not want it. Not yet anyway.

Still, I would have expected that had you been switched tio DS-Lite - intentionally or unintentionally - your curiosoty would have made you have a quick look at it at least.

Odd mistake. My ISP offers Dual Stackm DS-Lite and IPv4 only, but only DS-Lite combines with CGNAT. There is no IPv4 only combined with CGNAT...

The latter of course is pretty useless for those running servers...

    Cheers, Michiel
