    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Mechanic's Bourbon Fudge Balls
    Categories: Cookies, Booze, Chocolate, Nuts
    Yield: 66 Servings

    2 c Vanilla wafers; crushed fine
    1/4 c Bourbon
    12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2/3 c Sweetened condensed milk
    Sweet milk cocoa
    Finely chopped walnuts

    From Tom & Ray Magliozzi the Car Talk guys. Use these
    to bribe your mechanics when you being an especially
    hard or bone-headed job to their shop.

    Combine crushed wafers and bourbon; mix until crumbs
    are moistened. Melt chocolate. Add condensed milk and
    stir just to blend. Slowly stir chocolate mixture into
    crumb mixture.

    Shape into 1" balls.

    Roll in milk chocolate or walnuts. Let stand until
    cool.

    Makes about 5 1/2 dozen.

    Title: Superior Fudge
    Categories: Candy, Dairy, Chocolate
    Yield: 1 1/2 pounds

    24 oz (2 bags) chocolate chips
    1/2 c Walnuts; chopped
    1/4 c Butter; in pieces
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Vanilla
    1/4 ts Peppermint extract
    2 c Sugar
    1 c Evaporated milk
    12 lg Marshmallows; halved

    Combine the chocolate chips, walnuts, butter, salt and
    flavorings into a bowl. Combine the sugar, marshamallows,
    and evaporated milk into a saucepan. Bring to a rolling
    boil; reduce heat.

    Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly with a wooden
    spoon. Pour over the chocolate chip mixture and mix well.
    Spread in a buttered 8x8 inch dish. Let stand until set.

    Yield 1 1/2 pounds.
