    So for those who have recently studied and passed the extra, how do you get this stuff to stick in your mind long enough to pass the test?

    I did a "cram and exam" session: I studied the question pool with correct answers only for about six hours then I took the test. I passed. :D

    Yeah, why are hobbies always so damn expensive?

    Ham radio does have one of the highest ROIs on equipment though so it
    balances out in the end.
