    BTW, when was the "elected" moderator last seen. Anywhere in FidoNet even?

    I think that was Allen Prunty. He just left a couple of years ago without notification...

    Apparently we don't need a moderator, nor an elisting, for the area to function nicely...

    Wasn't this the echo where bi-annual moderator elections were a 'cast in concrete thing'? Or was that the other global fidonet sysop echo?

    It was this one. And at first it was annual.

    That concrete crumbled away when the casters of that concrete succeeded in getting rid of Bj”rn Felten as moderator.
