From Michiel van der Vlist@2:280/5555 to All on Tue Apr 6 12:54:13 2021
    Hello All,

A couple of days ago, I got a letter (as in piece of paper with ink on it) from my ISP informing me that they will perform manintenance on the network tonight and that my connection will be interupted between 23:00 and 02:30 UTC.

My system may be unavailable during that time.

Normally they just send e-mail to warn about possible interuptions and then it usually lasts only a few minutes. The fact that they now send snail mail indicates that this time it is more serious.

Experience tells me that I may get a new IPv6 prefix. If that happens I can only fix it later on Wednesday. No big deal because I will still be reacheable by IPv4. There is a small chance my IPv4 address will also change. If that happpens, it will take a bit longer before my system will be fully operational.

Anyway, if I am unreachable on Wednesday morning: No Panic... ;-)

    Cheers, Michiel
