    Hi! Darryl,

This one has a MSGID. The others don't have any kludges...

Thank you for the Reply. Alexi/Mail it is. It has the MSGID and it seems to handle the dates fine. It also puts a tagline in where the others did not seem to.
Again, thank you all for the test.
    Darryl.

    +1

It also puts a tagline in where the others did not seem to.

what do you mean "tagline"? defacto taglines start in column 1 with three dots and a space... they were brought to us via offline mail readers as a cute feature allowing folks to add a single line cutesy saying... this message has one below... it is the "Lightenup!" line...

Again, thank you all for the test. Darryl.

this one above looks like a signature line... my posts from this reader have two... the monkey one and the IDS one...

    --- Alexi/Mail 2.02b (UNREG)

this one is a tear line... my posts from this reader have a blank one... i prefer to use the ^aPID and ^aTID lines instead of visibly advertising the software used...

trivia: did you know there were "tear line wars" back in fidonet's history?

this one is a FTN origin line...
