• Something went wrong, but I don't know what

From Björn Felten@2:203/2 to All on Mon Sep 14 04:15:09 2020
OK. So something went wrong this week, but I don't know what. Can you see what is missing, let me know.

If it's not something important I guess we'll have to just let it pass, but it doesn't feel right to this editor, that a Fidonews issue was published with a blemish.

If the publishing process executes faster then I see no harm in dropping the page.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    The editor made a boo-boo.
    A very big boo-boo.
What can he do to fix it?

Now that is the best idea I have heard about in decades!
Changing the name of The Fidonews to a name it truly deserves!

    The Daily Fidonews

With that in mind, I hereby nominate you as the next Editor-To-Be.

That's my fav page too. It's the only one that has content
    that changes.

Hmmm... The page with the list of IPv6 nodes is not static either. It does change. Not ebery week, but it does change every once in a while...

oh yeah.. I take a look at that one too to see how close it is
    getting to 100.

It was at 79 last year this month. Is the acceleration rate of
    adoption picking up?

No, on the contrary. In the beginning there was exponential growth, but now it is flattening off. Presently the counter is at 91. I doubt we will reach 100 at the end of the year. We may never get there.

I already reported about this in my yearly Fodonews IPv6 report.

Too right, mate. I don't do DOS any more, so I can't run the Snooze's publishing software. Like I said in not so many words, at the risk of repeating myself.

    Hello Michiel,

    Hacked!

I do hope you and your Dutch friends use a better password
than our dear orange leader -

    Trump's Twitter Account Was Hacked

    Source: Political Wire

President Trump’s Twitter account was hacked last week,
after a Dutch researcher correctly guessed the president’s
password: “maga2020!”, according to de Volkskrant.

“Victor Gevers, a security expert, had access to Trump’s
direct messages, could post tweets in his name and change
his profile. Gevers took screenshots when he had access
    to Trump’s account.”
