• Peanut Butter

    Hello Everybody,

I was out of shaving soap, and needed to find
something that could be used as an alternative.
I thought about whipped cream, but reckoned
that would not be a good idea, as I would likely
wind up with a very bloody face, along with the
towels used to sop up the mess.

But lo and behold, I found the answer. Right
there in the kitchen pantry. Wonder of wonders,
sitting there right before my very eyes. A jar
of creamy peanut butter. Perfect for the job.

The crunchy version should work just as well.
But it is a much smoother shave if one uses creamy.

Just wet your face with warm water, then slather
on some peanut butter with your hands. Be sure not
to use a brush as the oils in the peanut butter
will ruin your brush. And then take the blade and
    swipe your face.

Note - This method does not work for electric shavers.

Best to use a good old-fashioned double-edged razor.
Or a straight razor. Very easy to clean afterwards by
using a cotton swab to wipe off stuff left behind.

Smelling like peanut butter for the rest of the day
has its benefits. Dogs will come up to you and try to
lick your face. Just be careful not to let them do
this too early as dog juice can easily get into one's
bloodstream if the pores have not closed yet from
having gotten a peanut butter shave.

Maybe I'll touch it up a bit next time by adding
absinthe to give it a fragrance that would attract
    more women than dogs.
