I can't say I'm the biggest Rush fan, but the late 70's/early 80's albums were pretty amazing. The one with Subdivisions was a
    masterpiec

That's Signals. Probably the last Rush album I bought. I'm the same. Everything up to that I really like. After that are OK but less my style.

Me too. Didn't care too much for the synth stuff.

You're lucky ... I even get comments about the volume when playing the dueling solo towards the end of Hotel California loud ... in my headphones.

After awhile here on Canadian radio stations - you begin to hear the same
Rush tracks over, and over, and over and over again... same thing with April Wine, Bryan Adams, Trooper etc. Canadian music in general just gets so vastly overplayed here. Seems like always the same bands, same songs on the radio. Stations here don't take chances anymore or venture out into album-territory.

Then you need much louder headphones to drown out the comments.

I bought a great pair of in-ear monitors - little knock-offs from a chinese company called KZ. When I heard of Neil Peart's passing, I took it upon
myself to test my new IEMs out by listening to "Moving Pictures" in its entirety, like I did in high school.

I did hit repeat for "Limelight", though. Messed with the continuity, But
    Hey, it's "Limelight".

I'm not really "up" on whats good headphone brandnames. I think everyone's hearing is somewhat subjective. I have a basic pair of Sennheiser headphones hooked to a Rane mixer aided by a DBX 120 subharmonic unit and a BBE 482
sonic maximiser. Most of my stereo stuff is old rack equipment.

But my Subdivisions fix was more than fufilled. 8-)

Yeah, I know. What I was referring to there was that YOU don't
likely have to worry about *BRAIN* cancer, because........well....
you can figure the rest out.
