I had a nodelist from 1994 to 2008. Shut down because life got in the way. Nostalgia strikes and I fire the ol BBS us again and get a new node number. I check out FIDONEWS and yes, over 10 years later, the same 'ol stuff is going on. Probably the same people.

I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.

    Hi Will,

Maybe it is the "same 'ol stuff" and the desire to always have the last word amongst "the same people" is what has *really* kept this fidonet of fidonuts going. LOL

The same can be said about the Trolls. ;)) You probably need both to get sufficient traffic flowing.

I think that that waste traffic is more suitable for the sewers. ;)

The only way to know if the sewers are functioning properly is to let the waste keep flowing. ;)

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Paul,

I think the whole idea behind what was being said is that a smart device can be put on your sewage outlet with quick analyses and sent itemised bills, also determine someone's sewage-index ... a lot of things could become possible signifying a next breach of privacy.

Indeed, substantial matter needs to be diluted, it won't flow by itself. ;)
