At least once a week, I receive Netmails from Sysops around the
world complaining about the shit-quality of Fidonet.
Unfortunately Fidonet will never ever be as good as Othernets. It
needs to have rules and kick out trolls, because it is clear there
are operators who are not mature enough to respect others. None of
this antagonism exists on any Othernet, and Othernets don't even
have rules or nanny moderators.
Echomail is clearly covered by P4. Fidonet needs an IC and certain
portions of P4 enforced correctly. Watch the troll shut the fuck up
when that happens and watch the quality of Fidonet conversation
slowly improve.
