    Hello Everybody,

The mastermind of Fidonet made a comment to other sysops -

I alwas had mixed feelings about ozzmosis. Yes, sometimes it is
an easy way to retrieve something someone said. OTOH, I do not like
my Fidonet postings to be out on the internet readable by all. One
very nice thing about Fidonet is that it is NOT the Internet. If I
want my rants to be readable on the Internet, I can post it there
myself. I want what I post om Fidonet to stay in Fidonet.

    Cheers, Michiel

Fidonet's favorite troll never needed ozzmosis to find what
is public information. Nor does Fidonet's favorite troll need
the return of ozzmosis to find what is public information.

It is all there, out in the open, for all to read.

Wishful thinking. Posting messages on message boards, fidonet,
twitter, facebook, or even private messages such as netmail and
email, are all occupational hazards. Once a message has been
sent, it can no longer be controlled by the one who sent it.

It becomes something like a permanent stain on one's pretty
blue dress, as it can never be removed.

That is what I love about unlimited free speech.

Once the cat has been let out of the bag ...
