Not to worry. In two weeks US President Donald Trump will be
in Denmark to buy Greenland,
It seems like the Trump, like the spoilt kid he is, no longer wants to go
to
Denmark, now that the Danish dismissed him as the crazy person that he is -- imagining that he actually could buy Greenland.
He knows his days are numbered. With his hopes for winning a second
term diminishing with each passing day, he will continue trying to
change the subject by doing or announcing some outlandish thing.
His second in charge (Mike Pence) is inept, and unable to rally
the troops for any cause, even if it would be his own self running
for prez.
What is his party expected to do? Go down with the ship?
Italy's government has collapsed. But that is normal, or has been,
since the end of WWII. This is the USA. With a president who is
clearly out of his ever-loving mind. And I thought Reagan was bad,
with early onset alzheimer's.
The British Prime Minister has been told where to go by the EU.
But that too, is normal. After all, the PM does look a bit like
the loon in DC.
Now we have former Speaker Paul Ryan is returning to DC. And not
to play second fiddle to a washed up businessman who still thinks
he is a billionaire.
I really should not have been surprised to find our dear leader had
to pay for sex. Quite unlike most (if not all) of his predecessors.
But maybe that is the problem. He can no longer pay anybody to do
what he wants.
Something is up, with the president's approval ratings in the tank
(the lowest of any president since at least 1938 at this point of any administration. From FDR through Barack Obama, each had an approval
rating of 53% at this point in their administration. What does this
one have? 41%, and on a downward spiral.
At his last rally in New Hampshire he had to find people to fill
the empty seats. So he invited workers at a nearby Shell Oil plant
to attend. What the president's press secretary failed to mention
was that they were paid overtime as an incentive.
People all over are losing interest in anything he says or has to say.
Nobody is paying attention anymore. I mention his name to who used to
be hardcore supporters, and now all they do is yawn.
It doesn't matter who the Democrats nominate for president.
It is all over except for the fat lady singing. And trust me
when I tell you, she is warming up.
