From Lee Lofaso@2:203/2 to All on Sun Apr 7 21:06:47 2019
    Hello Everybody,

What happens when you put a fire extinguisher
inside of an artillery howitzer, and light the
    fuse?

    A [not-so-clever] Russian welder found out -

    https://git45.rostrud.ru/news/561199.html

My Russian language skills are not the best,
but I do get the general idea.

I do take this is "real news" rather than
"fake news". I mean, nobody can make up this
kind of stuff. Not even me.

I saw a Canadian man (born in Czech Republic) who had survived
falling over Niagara Falls in a wooden barrel try to duplicate his
feat in the Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The barrel he was in hit
the side of the water tank on the field, after having been dropped
180 feet from the top of the Astrodome. He was cut almost in half,
but somehow survived a few hours until expiring the next day.

His last words were reputed to have been -

"There is no heaven or hell; there is no God. It's all myth.
You're born, you live, one day you die and that's it."
~ Karel Soucek (survived original stunt Niagara Falls July 3, 1984,
    did not survive redux stunt Astrodome January 19, 1985}

How to commit suicide before a live audience.

No wonder he insisted on payment in advance.

Going over Niagara Falls in a wooden barrel is nuts.
But some have survived to tell the tale.

Going over Niagara Falls without being in a wooden barrel
has been done many times, usually with nobody noticing.
However, to date, only 4 persons have been known to have
survived to tell the tale. Make that 3. as one of those
survivors tried to do it again.

This kind of adventure gives a lot of adrenaline that becomes a
narcotic. That guy could not stop and he was doomed.
