I've been testing my address that you plant in @RFC-Reply-To: 1223717052@f256.n460.z2.fidonet.org ..but it does not seem to work.

I registered the address as per the instructions at http://gate.fidonet.org.ua/ ..and got the confirmation online, (and only used plain-text as required), but my test emails don't arrive to the Fido2telebot on my Telegram.

Just thought I'd mention it incase there is a glitch with the bot?

work.

OR.. perhaps you would consider a %UserProfile setting to change
the default:

..to something that the user would prefer? :D

Not sure what considerations you would need to make so as to
avoid abuse when giving free-reign to enter a gateway address,
but if @f###.n##.z#.fidonet.org isn't going to work, then I'd
rather have an @f###.n###.z#.fidonet.fi address that does. ;)

Pavel answered. Now his gate is automatically opened for e-mails to which they wrote from Fido.

No. I won't do that. Netmail gate is not intended for writing e-mail from Telegram using Fido resources. It is an undocumented feature for advanced users that I did not find it necessary to disable.

Good call. I was getting too excited about the different
options and how the delivery is knitted together so well.

When I first "discovered" email back in the late 80's, I had a
bit of fun routing email through other systems using the !
method.
