    You might look into getting her a rollator. Pretty sure that Medicare
    would pay for a basic one. The advantage would be that if she gets too tired pushing after ten feet, she can sit down in it and rest.

    They have one at the rehab place she's in right now... I'm not sure
    first where it would fit in here, and also I'm not sure she's going to come home. We have met with the staff every week or so pretty much
    since she went in there and so far the doctors don't think it will be a good idea or really possible given her needs. She's really become more dependant since her fall.

    That is sad.... Is she still relatively happy to be at that facility...?

    Well, when she's "mentally here", she is... You can't hope for more, really.
