    Nick,

I want either "I told you I was sick!" or "I thought therefore I was" on
    y
    headstone.

A program in this session has encountered a problem and cannot
    continue.

    We apologise for the inconvenience.

    LOL!!

    Sean,

I want either "I told you I was sick!" or "I thought therefore I was"
    on my headstone.

The first one was the hypochondriac's wish...the second one is a nice pun.

Fun fact: I am to be buried at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN (inside Johnson City, TN) since I served honorably in the US Army. I made plans already. With my health, I could quite literally drop dead at any minute and I don't want to cause any more stress than needed for my family.

Thank you for your service. :) Pre-arrangement is a necessity. There is a local business that offers "cremation only" (no service or visitation) for around $800 (it may be higher now)...but a bare bones funeral can easily
    top $12,000 in cost.

I think of the joke where this guy wakes up in the morgue, and wonders
"If I'm alive, what am I doing here?? And, if I'm dead, how come I have
to go to the bathroom??". :P

    Daryl

... They say "Money Talks". Mine just waves "goodbye".

    Sean,

Please wait while we transmit your private data to the federal three-letter agency of your choice.

That's like the guy who said his mother-in-law was president of
NBC -- the Nagging Brat Committee. <G> In line with that, the
    tagline below is appropriate.

    Daryl

... How come we never hear any father-in-law jokes?

    Nick,

In Windows 10 the BSOD is now a big frowny-face and a QR code.

I haven't seen that on the BBS computer yet (Windows 10, 32-bit),
or on my laptop (Windows 11, 64-bit).

Now, I've probably jinxed myself. <G>

    Shaun,

If you'd ever spent time in customer support, you'd already know the answer to that question.

'Uh, what's right click mean?' (o_O)

Customer: I can't find the ANY key!! My cup holder broke!! I plugged
the power strip into itself, and nothing's happening. <G>

Tech Support: You're too stupid to own a computer. :P

Admittedly, I was my late Mom's computer guru, and the BBS is now
on what was her desktop computer.

PEBKAC - problem exists between keyboard and chair

    Thanks for explaining that one.

    Daryl

... OK, after this message, we're BACK on TOPIC.
