Updating Pages... and not...
(The continuing saga)

As I've mentioned in the Editorial, I've contacted Nick Andre
and Ward Dossche about the pages in the Zone 1 section at
fidonet.org.

I've updated links, cleaned up old information and IMO improved
the general look of the pages.

The result? nada... crickets...

Until someone contacts me about this, we're stuck with what's
there... An embarrassment to everyone in Zone 1. Perhaps the
owner of Fidonet.org (Ward) would like to have someone else do
these pages? Fine by me, just let me know :)

Some people yaw, bitch and moan about bad information on this
site... the ball is in your court Ward and Nick :)

As I've mentioned in the Editorial, I've contacted Nick Andre
and Ward Dossche about the pages in the Zone 1 section at
fidonet.org.

Actually, it was I who sent you a netmail explaining I had wrestled control over the domain and the website and told you if changes were to be applied to the Z1-portion they could now be included after being reviewed by ZC1:

* You never answered that message.
* You never sent me any draft updated site
* You never cc-ed a mail you allegedly sent to Nick Andre, not in netmail,
not in email.

Some people yaw, bitch and moan about bad information on this
site... the ball is in your court Ward and Nick :)

Actually, you should post accurate information and not a lie such as ...

"I've mentioned this in an email to Nick Andre and cc'd the email
to Ward Dossche, who owns the domain now."

You never sent such a cc to me.

I don't understand your attempts at discrediting Nick, he's the first decent ZC1 in decades ... finally no weekly complaints anymore about the quality of the ZONE1-segment which now gets issued automatically, as a clockwork, on time.

After failing in your FIDONEWS-putsch, failing to fuel zone-warz is running Nick out of town now your next objective?

Janis - It is really unfortunate that your very neutral and friendly Fidogazette is now a soapbox place for you to once again go back to twisting and wordplay that you were famous for back in the days of the zone-wars.

The truth is that you were very politely told in the private ZCC echo that Zone 1 pages I would review; and you were told in the Z1C echo that I have a very busy schedule. Its not going to happen overnight. Again you were politely reminded of this in FIDONET.ORG.

This is not the first time you have acted this way towards me - You forward me a new Node application by Email that was received at Filegate, and then make it a public thing in the Z1C echo that I did not reply to your Email...... that you only sent me the night before.

"This is a hobby" Janis, not a corporate IT department.

Perhaps its time for you to switch off your computer and tend to your unfortunate personal situations and circumstances you "ranted" to me
about in FIDONET.ORG instead of posting snide commentary.

Hi Nick,

I hope all is going well

Ward asked me to have you review the pages I've set up for the Zone 1 section of fidonet.org. The ones that are there are from very early work I did with html... and some are out of date

Why would I care to do that? You are doing a fine job of screwing this one up.

Ross had some bad ideas way back, and the so called fidonews fiasco was one of them... he just wanted to see some content in Fidonews... Oh well.

And 4 or 5 days ago, I was awarded another tech-contract and have been racing around tending to this and other consulting projects of mine, as well as my daughter's extracurricular programs, the nattering and apparent senility of my parents (aka George's parents from Seinfeld) and some other things.

sufficed for the majority. I haven't even had time for my usual round of debauchery and self-gratification; apparently a broken ZC1 campaign promise.

You said "purdy please" but forgot the cherry on top. I'll get to the website stuff when I get to it. Patience does not run in the Kracht family? How many severed horses heads have you been involved with?

First of all, congrats on the award.

But why do feel you need time to study Janis' work?

All you have to do is give the head's up to Ward: "Hey, Ward.. make it
so."

All Janis needs are the FTP login particulars. That's Ward's task.

If there is a problem with the pages, Janis can work on them.

There will be plenty of eyes watching for any issues. In the meantime you can keep your eyes on your priorities.
