Hey Shane, glad to see you survived Floyd!

I am having some problems on my Windows NT Machine when I try to install wcNAVNT:

After the last rebuild of my system (reformat and reload WinNT
and software) when I attempted to install the wcNav NT Version I receive
    a very odd error:

During the setup when it says "Decompressing files to C:\WCNAV\" the
    following error appears:

    Warning

An error has occurred while coping the file C:\WCNAV\AUTOREG.728. The
    file was not copied.

    Error FS_OPERROR

    [OK]

Then when I click the OK button the setup QUICKLY goes to 100% as if the
setup is complete without copying any files to my hard disk other than
the AUTOREG.728 file and created directories.

I assume it is my system because I have had many of my users use the
    WCNAV without any trouble.

I also tried installing it on my D: drive to see if it was by any chance
just C: but I get the same result no matter where I install it.

    Your thoughts appreciated,

    Aaron Wornom

Hmm, a new one on me. Try checking your drive for errors, and perhaps
download a new copy of the installer in case yours is somehow corrupted.

you could try copying by hand, but this kind of sounds like a memory
problem we had here where some files got lost in the transfer due to a
    bad mem chip

    Shane,

I have tried downloading newer versions of the installer even tried the
OLD one directly off the CD all with the same result.

As for checking t he drive for errors Iwill try it again but as I said
I have tried doing this before and tried installing it on several of the
drives on this system all with the same result. But last time I tried
checking for errors no errors were found and still resulted in the same
    error.

    Enjoy,

    Aaron

Also try deleting all the files in your temp directory (often c:\temp in
NT, and c:\windows\temp in Win95/98, but could be anything) before you
run the install program. If there is an older version of a file in the
temp directory that wcNav's install program can't overwrite, you can end
    up having odd problems.
