Will WIN Server run under Windows 7? With XP sunsetting next year, I am looking

If you are referring to Windows 7 64 bit then the answer is Yes with the exception of:

    1. Old 16bit doors
    2. The 16bit Wildcat Navigator

Excellent. It sounds like the 32-bit version of Windows 7 may be a better option, then, in terms of compatibility, correct?

Did you do anything special? When I click the launcher it just sit's there, doesn't spin the drive or anything.

I tried comparability mode etc but to no avail.

When did they stop updating Winserver?

Did you try running the installation as Administrator? right click the
.exe and select Run as Administrator.

It was 64bit Win7 is why. Installed it on a 32bit partition and it's working like a charm now :)

First the cd I received directly from Santronics and I followed up with
    the AUP after installing it.

As to using the cd under Windows 7 I don't want to sound arrogant but I
just inserted and the install program came up. Why you seem to say it sits there seems like you are using a system that used the update from XP and
    not a clean install.
