I realize this is not the season for fresh berries. The next best thing
is frozen. I like the frozen berries from the Willamette Valley Pie Co.
They are noticeably better than the ones from South America. Safeway's
"Wild Blueberries" from Canada are also pretty good.

Title: Fresh Berry Soup
Categories: Soups
Yield: 4 Servings
1 qt Fresh orange juice
4 c Dairy; (any combination of
-yogurt, buttermilk, and/or
-sour cream)
1 tb Honey; (or more to taste)
2 tb Fresh lemon or lime juice
1 ds Cinnamon
1 ds Nutmeg
1 1/2 pt Fresh berries; (raspberries,
-blueberries, or
-strawberries)
Very easy to prepare.
Whisk together everything except the berries. Chill thoroughly. Wash
and drain the berries. Blueberries, raspberries, or black raspberries
should be left whole. Large strawberries should be sliced. Wild
strawberries, if you are fortunate [enough] to have access to some,
should be left whole.
When you are ready to serve, divide the berries into individual
serving bowls. Ladle the soup on top. Garnish with sprigs of fresh
mint.
