Why I should buy it?

If you have issues with limescale or calcium build-up, or if you don't like

Why I should buy it?

Read what it does, and if that is important to you then buy it. If you
don't care (or do not believe the claims) then don't buy it. There are
people here who would not drink tap water without such a filter. Others (including me) who are perfectly OK with the water that comes out of the
tap. The difference often varies with location. Some areas have bad
water, others good.

Title: Baked Macaroni And Cheese

Yield: 6 servings

2 tb Butter
1/4 c Flour
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Red pepper
2 1/2 c Milk
3 c Cheese, cheddar; grated;
Mixture of cheese if you
Have them
2 c Macaroni, elbow; uncooked;
1/4 c Bread crumbs; regular

Cook the macaroni to al dente stage.

In 3 quart saucepan melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour,
salt, mustard and pepper until mixed well. Remove from heat.
Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Stirring constantly, cook over
medium heat about 10 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.
Stir in 2 cups of the cheese until melted. Turn macaroni into
greased 3 quart casserole. Pour cheese mixture over macaroni, mix
well. Mix remaining cheese and bread crumbs; sprinkle over top of
casserole.

Can be made ahead of time, refrigerated and cooked later. Add 15 min
to cooking time.

Bake 375 oven 25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.

Serves 4 - 6

Denis is plugged in to the wall current.

Read what it does, and if that is important to you then buy it. If you don't care (or do not believe the claims) then don't buy it. There are people here who would not drink tap water without such a filter. Others (including me) who are perfectly OK with the water that comes out of
the tap. The difference often varies with location. Some areas have

I have two memorable area - Los Angeles are where the water is very evil tasting and Arrowhead-Puritas makes a fortune delivering bottled water
to nearly every home that has enough of the "necessary" to avoid drinking
or cooking with tap water.

The other is Slidell, LA where I once took a shower at the TA truckstop
and felt dirtier after the shower than before. The tap waster has a big
sulfur component to it and my skin felt "slimy" and generally nasty even

4 1/2 c Dehydrated cheese
2 2/3 tb Powdered milk
2 2/3 c Flour
2 ts Onion powder

MMMMM---------------------OTHER INGREDIENTS--------------------------
2 c Macaroni elbows

1 c Uncooked rice

2 c Sliced potatoes; dried is OK
2 c Water (1 cup if using fresh
- potatoes)
1/4 c Butter; or more
1 lb Roadkill of choice; bones
- removed as much as you can
- fur/feathers, too
Salt & pepper

Mix the sauce ingredients well and store in an airtight
container. Makes 5 pounds

After removing hide, fur/feathers, and bones/fragments as
best you can chop the meat as fine as you wish and brown
in a skillet. Stir in the pasta, rice, or potatoes then
the water and butter, combining well.

Add a half cup of the Sauce Mix and combine well. Cover
the skillet and simmer until the pasta/rice/potatoes are
cooked to desired doneness.

Season with salt and pepper.

I have encountered sulfur water in NE and NW Indiana also. I used to have family in Marion, Indiana. I cannot remember if it was like that in the
city at one house, but it was at the house just outside of town. They say
it is good for you, but I always found it slimy and difficult to drink.

1 lb Boned, skinned chicken
1 lg Bell pepper
4 Scallions
1 lg Egg
4 oz Bean sprouts
1 tb Sesame oil
4 tb Soy sauce
4 tb Rice vinegar
1 tb Fresh ginger; grated

Slice the chicken at a slight angle to a thickness of
about 1/4".

Core and de-seed the pepper.

Thinly slice the pepper and green onions.

Arrange on a plate in combination with the bean sprouts
and sliced chicken.

Heat a large griddle or heavy frying pan and then spread
on the sesame oil.

Add the chicken slices and vegetables in small batches,
allowing space between them so they cook thoroughly.

Once the chicken is mostly cooked, crack an egg and
mix in.

Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar and ginger. Pour
over finished chicken/veggies.

I have encountered sulfur water in NE and NW Indiana also. I used to
have family in Marion, Indiana. I cannot remember if it was like that
in the city at one house, but it was at the house just outside of town.

Northern Indiana was pretty much a "fly-over" zone for me. Even though
I hauled a lot of bottles out of Foster-Forbes in Marion to the Buttwiper brewery in St. Louis.
