Be leary of URL shorteners. Some are malicious in nature
and are offering such a service to try and phish data from
your browser such as your email address to sell to
spammers.
Hi Flavio,the
That's strange indeed.┬а I'm pretty sure I tested it before.┬а Hopefully
alternative below will behave better.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Indeed! I always open them into the browser's hidden mode.
Hello Flavio!
What is the hidden mode?┬а I'll usually hover over a link and
see what the "real" destination is. But I don't think that
resolves ultimate destination of a tiny url.

That only goes so far too. Check out "Privacy Badger" if you're using Firefox.

I never heard of PrivacyBadger. Just after a quick read/gleenThat's a must install for me. That, adblock ultimate, and duckduckgo privacy essentials. If there's others, please feel free to speak up :)
about it, I like their ethic. It installed in my older FF under
XP well.
You're quite welcome. Considering Duckduckgo is known for
their privacy search engine I would think their browser
plugin would be decent as well.
btw as I see I got on this echo per your suggestion :D
Or you can use lynx and view the source. That may help as
well.

In some browsers it's called "private browsing"...
