    This is another drawback of Telegram - there is no way to edit the forward message. Any comment will be sent by the following message.

    BTW.. for a 12 second clip, 2MB seemed too large for that sort
    of thing. It took about 7 minutes to load. :( I'm stuck on
    33Kbps (throttled down from 3Mbps) on my mobile data until Feb
    3.

    Unfortunately, nowadays, many people do not think about the size of the files sent. :(

    post with a [...] subject and a link without a description.

    Maybe the better thing to do would be be to save the video, and
    repost it as a new message with a comment? But that represents
    a waste of resources.

    I don't know what the answer is. Maybe, avoid forwarding
    messages?

    Tell me about it! A recent Joe Rogan video podcast (that ran for
    3 hours) was a default size of 1.8GB!

    At least I have the option *not* to view any linked videos with
    the Telegram app.
