    Janis,

I mean, the US government experiments on its own people so I'd not put it JK>> them to do this...but I've wandered off-topic.

    Yes, that's true..

So the moderator will now get catty, and scratch out the eyes of the violator. <just kidding, Sean) <BG>.

Reminds me of the cat (an attitude with fur) that we had, named
"Tandy" (yes, the same name as the parent company of the former Radio
Shack chain). She'd start sharpening her claws on the furniture, and my
Mom would yell "Tandy!!", and clap her hands. The cat would stop, and
give her "the stink eye", as if to smart off/talk back, and say things
like "You CAN'T be talking to ME!!" <G> -- then, she went right back to
    doing such!!

One night, she tried to escape, and her claw got caught in the
furniture, and she yowled. When she got loose, she tried to escape to my bedroom, thinking I didn't have the door closed all the way...but I
did!! I had gone to bed just moments before, and had just about dozed
off, when I heard "THUD!!". I wondered "WTH??!!"...and the next thing I
knew, WHUMP!! Four elephant paws of a cold nosed cat, purring and
pleading for me to "hide her from the mean old lady" (my Mom) <G>. I
said "She knows where you are!!", but the cat made a beeline for my
stinky feet, as far under the covers as she could get. But, it was rare
she'd stay under there all night. My Mom had reasoned "I'll let Daryl
deal with her...I'm going to bed myself!!". <G>

    Hello Daryl,

Reminds me of the cat (an attitude with fur) that we had, named
"Tandy" (yes, the same name as the parent company of the former Radio
    Shack chain).

Ahhh... My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80. :-)

She'd start sharpening her claws on the furniture, and my
Mom would yell "Tandy!!", and clap her hands.

My cat would prefer to sharpen her claws on my leg. The problem I have had since being a kid has been a lack of feeling in my arms and legs to cuts, pokes, scratches, or temperature. I would really notice it until I would see the claw/scratch marks. The cat also liked to chew on toes. :-) Eat... No... Chew... Yes.

We have two cats now. That way they can play and chew on each other. :-) When they are chasing each other they sound like they each have elephant feet. A couple times I would (Totally Unintentional) close a hall or bedroom door. Then when I would hear them running. I would sometimes hear a loud THUD as one would find an unexpected closed door. :-)

    Hello Daryl,

    Hi, Jeff...

"Tandy" (yes, the same name as the parent company of the former Radio
    Shack chain).

Ahhh... My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80. :-)

Mine was the TRS-80 MC-10 Micro Color Computer, with a 32K RAM
Expansion module. Programs were loaded from/saved to a cassette tape.
The favorite game?? Prehistoric Pinball. <G>

My cat would prefer to sharpen her claws on my leg. The problem I have had JS>since being a kid has been a lack of feeling in my arms and legs to cuts, JS>pokes, scratches, or temperature. I would really notice it until I would see
the claw/scratch marks. The cat also liked to chew on toes. :-) Eat... No...
    Chew... Yes.

When my Mom was growing up, the school teachers were alarmed at how
scratched up, etc. her arms were. They asked about it, and she said
"That's from playing with my cat". <G>

We have two cats now. That way they can play and chew on each other. :-) Whe

They probably cussed under their breath..."Human!! This is going to
cut down on our cuddle time"!! :P
