    Greetings All!


    So I have a question about binkp.net and hope this is an appropriate place to ask it.. So while myself and another were trying to sort out some binkd setup challenges I realized that neither or my bbs's are in listed or acknowledged in binkp.net. So I tried to register them and binkp.net claims neither are in nodelist.286 however the most recent one from filegate is .283 and both my bbs's are listed in there as they should be..

    Any thoughts?

    By itself, binkp does not register anything in the nodelist. This is just a free dynamic DNS for Fido nodes. Domain name f202.n340.z1.binkp.net, you need to add to the nodelist by yourself.

    You use the weekly nodelist formed by Z1C and binkp.net uses the daily nodelist formed by Z2C. Z2C includes in his nodelist the information on Z1 nodes which he obtains from Z1C. So if for some reason transmission of the information has failed, your node is absent in the Z2 nodelist.
