• Boeing 787 Dreamliner ... again ...

During inspections, a manufacturing defect was discovered in the nose of some Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

The American aircraft manufacturer must therefore make adjustments to the production process, according to the FAA.

Checks revealed problems in the forward bulkhead. Under certain circumstances it could start to 'wrinkle'. According to the FAA, this is not a huge security problem, but it does need to be adjusted. As a result, approximately 100 Dreamliners currently being built or waiting to be handed over to the customer must be inspected.

Boeing has not yet formally responded to the issues. It is also not yet clear whether Dreamliners that are already in service should be checked.
