Delta Air Lines has decided to discontinue almost all scheduled services to the
European mainland from Monday. This is because of the corona virus and the US entry ban. From Schiphol, the airline continues to fly only to Atlanta and Detroit. Brussels flights are stooped fully.

The affected passengers are rebooked as much as possible to flights operated by
joint venture partners Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic. KLM will maintain the following American destinations in the next two weeks: Atlanta, Washington,
New York JFK, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.

Delta has to make significant cutbacks due to the corona virus. The total capacity is reduced by about 40 percent, with the result that hundreds of aircraft remain on the ground. In a letter to staff, CEO Ed Bastian said the situation was even more radical than after the attacks on September 11, 2001.
