I recently heard Nancy had died in the last week. I wanted to post to this
echo to record how I will miss her presence. She was a chatty colorful person in many echomail areas and had clearly been active for years.

I think the wider BBS community looses a special someone with her passing.

Even though I was not overly active in Fido echos I recognize the real contribution to the social discourse that she made.

RIP Nancy. You will be missed.

    Hey Paul!

I wanted to post to this echo to record how I will miss her
    presence.

I am glad you did as I am at a total loss of words upon hearing about her passing.

I think the wider BBS community looses a special someone with her
    passing.

I've known here for about 20 years now and we first met in the DADS echoarea. She persuaded me to take up the ASIAN_LINK "cause" and I am convinced that most of the traffic in this area was thanks to her.

RIP Nancy. You will be missed.

    Amen.

    Life is good,

I sent an email to Janis Kracht, with links to her obituary, and her graveside service...plus posted these in the FIDONet Memories echo, and
    the ILinkNet Friendly Talk echo.

RIP Nancy. You will be missed.

She left big shoes that no one can fill.

Agreed. I looked at the online condolences and felt the same way.

There was a brief mention in the FIDOGazette, released Oct. 14, 2020,
on her passing. The rest of the stuff was what's regularly in there.

She left big shoes that no one can fill.

Agreed. I looked at the online condolences and felt the same way.

I'm just sorry I never got to meet her in person.

Thank you Paul. I had not heard. She was a lovely lady. She stayed at my place for a bit when a family gathering was being held here at First Landing park.
