Hi, what was the most intelligent virus on Amiga? I think that SADDAM is

Yeah Saddam was pretty potent if memory serves. I actually never had much in the way of viruses on any of my amigas either back in the day or in present times.

think it was. It got in a file that a few of our boards shared and spread to multiple systems.

Virus I
think it was. It got in a file that a few of our boards shared and spread
to
multiple systems.

When I bought amiga (last year) after 25 years without my old Amiga I
got SADDAM from some of my old floppy's and some adf files. It was so
anoying! So I decided to start with assembler (after long long time)
again so I can deal with SADDAM by myself. And I made it :) That
little tool is on aminet even thou there is couple of saddam killers
this one is mine :)

Oh yea, I got hit with it big time also.. Like Gary said there was about 4 or
5 of us that got hit with it and we all ended up having to redo our systems.
In my case when I built my Emulation of the Amiga I didn't install a Virus Checker because A) everything was outdated, and B) who is writing Virus' for Amiga's today? Well didn't think I would get hit with a Virus that was 25
years old!

My system is clean now, BUT I may still have a zip file of my directory
which was infected.. I will have to look around my Server to see if I saved it..
