• Upgrading to General Class

From John Orr@1:103/1 to All on Fri Mar 13 04:54:30 2020
    Hello,

I received my Technician Class license in 2007. I monitor on a Yaesu VX 8d. I also have a Yaesu FT 221 but it isn't connected. Beyond that,I am studying for the General Class exam. Then it's on to Amateur Extra Class. Finding an exam in my area is hit or miss though. The local Amateur Radio Club hasn't posted any new exam dates in awhile.

    Best wishes,

Good luck, John! I definately found a lot more enjoyment in Amateur Radio when I upgraded from Tech to Extra. Being able to use the HF bands opened a whole new world (literally) to my ears.

Are you using any of the online study resources, or just physical books?

    Cheers,
