  • Mageia.org servers down?

    Are the servers of mageia.org down?
    I can't reach them since a few hours.

    Ping can see the mageia.org, but all my browsers say: Problem loading page.

    Yes. From the Mageia Blog:

    Since a little over two hours ago, most of our servers can no longer be reached.

    The issue is under investigation and we hope to have all of our servers
    back online soon.

    Update: One of our sysadmins explained that our servers which can no
    longer be reached, are the ones in Marseille.

    Update2: The temperature in the data center had risen too much after a
    problem with the electricity. Someone from MarsNet in Marseille is
    willing to try to start our servers, when checking theirs in the same
    data center, tomorrow morning.

    Note: Wording of Update2 was improved several times.

    The servers are still down. It seems the facility's cooling system is
    broken, and the servers can't be restarted until it has been fixed.

    Since this Saturday morning mageia.org is up and running again.

    Mageia.org is back again. But not so their subdomains:

    - forums.mageia.org
    - bugs.mageia.org

    So, no chance to send a bugreport at the moment
