• MGA9, register hostname in DNS?

From Markus Robert Kessler@2:250/1 to All on Wed Sep 13 10:39:21 2023
    Hi all,

after installing MGA9 I try to get the machine registering the hostname
to the local DNS (AVM Fritzbox 7590).
Former versions like MGA7 just took /etc/hostname and registered it via
DHCP, no matter if dhclient or dhcpcd is used.
In MGA9 this does not seem to work anymore. Has something changed?
    Someone got this to work?

    Thanks,
    best regards,
    Markus

Sounds funny, but after switching back and forth between the different
dchp clients, meanwhile DNS knows the hostname. No clue why...

    Thanks,
    best regards,
    Markus

Not only in Debian, also in Ubuntu this works out of the box, as I've seen now. This seems to be just one more of the many Mageia-problems...
