I have the Moneto Blockchain in an encrypted partition. In the Mageia 8 distribution appears an error and does not update. This is not a program problem because the same program works in two other different
distributions on the same computer.

Following your recommendation, I created a user. It worked but began to download Blockchain from scratch.
This is not desirable since previously downloaded blockchain is over 90% completed. I removed the new blochchain, put symbolic links from old Blockchain in place and changed the owner of the files with the chown
-r -v test .bitmonero.
It worked but this way I will have to change the owner of the files each
time I switch to another distribution.

That means it's some config file in the other user's home directory causing the problem. Figuring out which one is not easy requiring a lot of trial and error.

Solved.
I created an empty home directory and gradually put back the files of
the original home.
I've used this way to solve other problems in the past. But for some
reason this time I didn't think the problem was some configuration file. Thanks for the indication of the path to be followed for the solution.

Solved.
I created an empty home directory and gradually put back the files of
the original home.
I've used this way to solve other problems in the past. But for some
reason this time I didn't think the problem was some configuration file.

There's no way to know without copying the config files from the old home directory, one at a time, restarting monero each time.
Exactly. This would take a long time and there would be not much to do
with the information about which corrupted file is.

I don't know which or which files were in trouble.
The defective files are at peace in the old Home partition. To discover them I would have to spend a huge time testing files and would not have
much benefit to know what they would be.
Since the computer has downloaded the blockchain again, it tells me as a case closed.
