From Gilberto F da Silva@2:250/1 to All on Sun Jan 9 22:53:09 2022
    Saluton!

When I tried to open an encrypted file in Mageia 8 I obtained this error message.

I copied and pasted it at Duckduckgo and Google. The answers were not
    helpful.

Best to include the error msg "gpg: onepass_sig with unknown version 105" in the
text, not just in the subject.

Most likely the sender is a new feature of the development version (2.3) of gnupg,
rather then the long term support version (2.2) that Mageia 8 uses.

You could try installing the cauldron version https://mirror.math.princeton.edu/pub/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/release/gnupg2-2.3.4-1.mga9.x86_64.rpm
    and see if that works.

I downloaded, there was a lack of a dependency.

While some packages may have been installed, there were failures.

In other two partitions I have the Current Slackware and OpenSuse
Tumbleweed. Are distributions with frequent updates. In thesis I have
safe systems but also occurs from programs to be withdrawn and/or have
modified operation. Sometimes I want to use the computer as a tool, not
as something with an end in itself.

I updated to Cauldron. Now Customizer Grub does not work anymore.
Apparently, everything is fine with that. Apparently, the MBR is

I've had good results with https://mirror.math.princeton.edu/pub/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/install/images/Mageia-Cauldron-netinstall-nonfree-x86_64.iso

With cauldron, updates go directly into the release repositories. For the install,
make sure the chosen mirror is up-to-date. As in green for the cauldron column in
    https://mirrors.mageia.org/status

Also, once it's installed, run "drakrpm-edit-media --expert" and select the box under the updates column for each of the release repos that's enabled. In stable
release, mgaapplet and urpmi only look for updates in the updates repos, not in the release repos.

You'll likely need to enable the tainted repos to get videos using patented codecs to play.
