Is anyone else being tripped up by muscle memory and the slightly
    rearranged menus of Mageia 7

I have overcome the location change of "Open With" on the right click
    drop menu.

But I have just spent several long seconds with Dolphin looking for
"Refresh" and doubting my sanity. It has been moved to the upper part
of the "view" menu and labeled "Redisplay"

I should have just pressed F5

    Regards

Damned if I can see anything like that in Mageia-7 Dolphin!

    What 'view menu'?

    Regards,

Sounds like you have not configured Dolphin to display that menubar. That menubar contains [File, Edit, View, Go, Tools, Settings Help] from
left to right, but try Control-M. Look under Settings if
that does not work. my Dolphin is 19.08.1

    Yes it does. correct!

and when I click on View, the menu list is "Zoom In" "Zoom Out" "
Redisplay" "Sort By" " View Mode"...etc

Redisplay used to be 3/4 way down the list and it was labeled Refresh

My last update went in yesterday

And my Dolphin is Version 19.04.0

    How odd, Bobbie :-)

Press Ctrl+M to display the menu bar or click the wrench icon in the
toolbar and select "Show menu bar".

Alternatively, you could put a panel at the top of the screen with the
global menu widget in it, in which case Dolphin's menus will always be available whenever Dolphin has focus. ;)

Screenie =E2=80=94 I hope the URL won't wrap.

Aha - actually 'Redisplay' ("F5") is in the menu the wrench-clicking
    shows.

And I really like your Manjaro example Dolphin configuration!
Wonder if can get Mageia7 to do that...

You can edit the toolbar and add or remove buttons and spacers. You
can also move them around on the toolbar. ;)

But of course you can. ;) Plasma is Plasma. :)

Here's what you need to do...

    1. Create a panel at the top with the global menu widget in it, and
resize it to your liking =E2=80=94 both my panels are 20 pixels high.

    2. Get the "Window Title" applet from store.kde.org and add it to the
panel in front of the global menu widget.

    3. Install the Kvantum theme manager and set the Application Style in
    System Settings to Kvantum.

    4. Download the KvGlow-MojaveDark theme from store.kde.org and load
it into the Kvantum theme manager. Tweak the settings as you
    prefer.

    5. Download the Mojave Dark Aurorae window decoration from
store.kde.org. You can tweak the position of the buttons via
System Settings =E2=86=92 Application Style =E2=86=92 Window Decoratio=
    ns =E2=86=92 Buttons

    6. Use the Oxygen icons. I also use Oxygen as the Plasma theme.

    .... And you're done. ;)
