  • LibreOffice 6.3 under Mageia7

    It doesn't work. Any LibreOffice users out there who install the latest versions when they come out? I installed LO 6.3.0 five weeks ago but it
    does nothing but show a brief flash screen. Bug 126774 raised, echoed by
    one other person. Just tried LO 6.3.1, which doesn't work either. So far there's been no reaction from the LibreOffice developers - it would be
    nice to get a few more names on the bug report.

    Yes. Well sorry my LibreOffice Writer seems to be working fine.
    I also got one of my other users to install it and it works for him and
    he is an author who makes some money by getting books finished and
    published. Using Version: 6.3.0.4 installed via LibreOffice Manager.

    Well I am having trouble finding it as well.
    What it does is remove all of the old LO files, not your documents, but
    the files that keep the LO suite working then
    it re-installs the new files in the space. First in your
    case I would use my package manager to remove all your LO
    files. Then I would install from the <https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/>
    packages.

    the version is only Version: 6.2.3.2
    Build ID: 6.2.3.2-3.mga7

    Many thanks Erik, that did it. Mind you, I always had LO 6.1 working, I
    just wanted to try 6.3
